The “Centre for Life” reserves the right to modify the website’s content and terms of use at any time without prior notification, solely by posting the modified content on the website. Policy changes do not affect data that has been registered under an earlier version of this personal data protection policy. If you choose to register so as to receive newsletter e-mails, the “Centre for Life” and its partners (more specifically the provider of electronic communications platform TheRocketScienceGroup/MailChimp, which has its registered office in the U.S.A., 675 PonceDeLeon, Ave NE STE 5000 Atlanta, Georgia, 30308-1829 and provides NewsletterCampaign services) will record and use your e-mail address for the exclusive purpose of sending you newsletter e-mails, as well as periodic updates on the activities of the “Centre for Life” and the ways in which you may choose to support our organization, should you wish to do so. Newsletter e-mails do not constitute personal and confidential correspondence, but they constitute rather an informative campaign. If at any time you wish to cancel your subscription to the newsletter emails and have your e-mail address deleted from the respective mailing list or you wish to update your personal information, you can do so by sending an email to [email protected] to request the deletion of your email from the list of subscribers or the modification of your personal data. In case of online donations the “Centre for Life” maintains the full name, e-mail address, telephone, fax as well as the postal address. Please note that your online donations are made via the secure money transfer service Pay Pal. The data of your credit or debit card (full name of cardholder as it appears on the card, card number, ccv number and expiration date) will be recorded by the company under the name “PayPal (Europe) S. à.r.l. etCie, S.C.A.” which has its registered office in Luxembourg, bldRoyal nos. 22-24, L-244, which is responsible for the safety of your data. The “Centre for Life” retains only the user’s personal contact information, for communication purposes (i.e. not the data of the credit or debit cards), for the issuing and mailing of donation receipts.

 

D. Maintaining and processing personal data

The “Centre for Life” maintains and processes the above data exclusively for the above-mentioned purposes and for the time period which is absolutely necessary for serving its purposes.

The “Centre for Life” preserves the personal data of its subscribers and supporters and does not transfer said data to any third party (natural person or legal entity) for any reason, subject to any provision to the contrary. The “Centre for Life” maintains records of this data exclusively for donation management purposes, to inform of its activities and for statistical purposes. Our organization does not share the information that you have provided us with non-related or non-cooperating companies or groups. We may share some of your personal data with database administrators/ technical support companies – with the sole purpose of helping us with the work and activities of the “Centre for Life”. These companies or groups do not share your personal data and do not use them for any other purpose apart from what our guidelines dictate. When you provide the “Centre for Life” with your personal data, we take measures to ensure that the management of your data is secure. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
